After both incidents the Doctor assess the behaviour of the human race...and the growing darkness in his soul.
Set after The Girl in the Fireplace, the Doctor muses about Reinette and how it might have been travelling with her, before having an argument with Rose and a talk with Mickey.
After saying goodbye to Mr Copper, the Doctor has time to himself to think about everything that has happened to him - the Year that Never was, the Master, and the disaster on the Titanic from space. Another part of my After series.
After the events of The Runaway Bride and Doomsday, the Doctor has to deal with the events that led to the loss of Rose and the discovery of the threat of Torchwood and of old secrets he thought had been buried, only to find he didn't know how literally they'd been buried.
Set after The Age of Steel, the Doctor finally accepts his Time Lord responsibility when Mickey decides to leave and he has to close the parallel universe off...if only Rose will stop trying to be a four year old. Clearly not Rose friendly but not excessive bashing.
