An interloper from Harry's home, the inherited responsibility for a group of Alderaanian refugees and the Outer Rim's usual scum and villainy are here for our heroes, scoundrels and Arden to contend with in this third installment of my The New World series and the sequel to Shadow of the Consortium.

It has been half a year since the evacuation of the Alliance from Yavin IV. Time Harry and his crew have spent hunting bounties as well as the occasional servant of the Empire. However, it will not be the Empire that poses the newest threat to them, not Vader or Palpatine or even one of their Admirals. It will be greed and a talented man with too much of it. As his and Voldemort's spells collide during the Battle of Hogwarts, not all is as it seems. Yes, the Dark Lord is defeated, but something weird happens to Harry, too. Without having a real explanation as to why, he is thrust into an alien world. Some would let this development crush their spirit, that was never something he was good at letting happen. Sequel is now up.

There is not much Death cares about, but the Natural Order is perhaps the most important thing to him. Tom Riddle violates the Natural Order of Life and Death. But Death is cunning, and so he gives Harry three choices: Stay dead, go on or go back. What else could Harry choose but to go back when there's people to save? Got tired of being bashy, changing that. Still HHr, though.

What if Harry had stumbled upon magic earlier? What if someone had realized, how terrible his home life was? What, if he had met someone less prejudiced before Hogwarts? This is year 1 of my planned epos including Harry in Slytherin, Dumbledore scheming and an at least somewhat helpful Snape. Later HP/DG, no bash but not exactly nice either. Currently on HIATUS, not abandoned.
