Sirius' innocence is found two years after that fateful night October 31st, 1981. Someone discovers the information and brings it to Dumbledore and Sirius is trialed and set free. Remus and Sirius are left to pick up the pieces of their friendship that had shattered so harshly in the face of what Remus had thought was betrayal.

Kreacher disobeys Regulus' command to go home. Regulus survives the cave. Kreacher knows that Regulus is in danger and only knows one blood traitor that might give him the chance at surviving.
