My facebook postings of story prompts and drabbles. Some very short, some short and some almost middling in length. Still going to rate them M for safety. Plus since i post them on Facebook with a picture i have have to adjust for the jokes.
This will be the place for any sub-10k word stories that I find or come up with. I am not going to take the ones I have already posted individually and collect them in here but anything that small from now on will be located here. Subject matter will vary but all will be marked M. They will all involve the Potterverse. It will be updated randomly.
The future was so bad Hermione burnt up the sun to send a warning back to Harry when they first met. Now she has to figure out what the future version of herself sent back, Harry has to take charge of his life, and make new friends. Ron is a tool, Dumbledore is not cool and Snape is slime. This is not canon compliant. Other characters and events are altered. AU.
Based on my Slide by slide alternate universe all stories in here will be set in that verse and linked by the common theme. Think Sliders meets Stargate SG-1 with a dash of Quantum Leap thrown in for flavor. Each chapter will be a stand alone episode within the over arcing theme. All rated mature of course for safety sake as I don't know how to write anything else.

AU story. Will contain Evil people doing EVIL things. Lily lived on that night and took Harry to her family in Harlan County Kentucky. Dumbledore finds him in the summer of 1996 to recruit him with the help of Hermione Granger. That will not be as easy as he had hoped. Lunar Harmony eventually. Bad d Ron. Some characters already dead. others out of canon personality.
Fifth year has come and gone with the pain it held. Harry can take no more so runs to Hermione for comfort, he discovers she had been hiding secrets under those robes that will change the course of his life and the war. Harmony plus. Some naughtiness at romance novel levels, Dumbledore gets his stuff together. Weasleys are complicated.
A series of conversations between two or more of the main, and some secondary characters, spread out over several years in the life of Harry Potter and his friends. The common theme is the developing relationship between Harry, Hermione, Luna, Neville and those around them. Rated M for reasons as usual. Many of these chapters will be short.
Continuing right where we left off at the end of year two this year takes off and brings new adventures and new changes. Some faces have bigger changes than others. Harry and company are maturing and so is the darkness. Relationships are Harry, Hermione, Luna, Lavender and Neville. Very little character bashing although Dumbledore is not painted in a flattering light.
Ginny died in the Chamber, but came back. Ron blamed Harry. Hermione survived the petrification but the others did not. Dumbledore's career certainly didn't. Nice Dursleys, Headmistress McGonnegal, new neighbors on Privet Drive. All this and more within this tale. Still rated mature for reasons.
Ginny was broken by her experience in the Chamber. Abandoned and broken by her blood family she found a new family. A family based on love. Starting in the summer after the second year things are going to be different. Evil Dumbledore. Some Ron bashing and removal of the Weasleys. Competent ministry. Rated M as usual. Pairing is Harmony. Grangers and Browns are in here too.
Harry and Hermione. Die together but are reborn together as Heart's blood bonded Phoenixes. Their world was strange enough now they have to learn to adapt to the changes in themselves as they learn the secrets Dumbledore kept. An unexpected ally helps them out though. Rated M for descriptions of violence, sexual situations, language. No harem. Weasleys are neutral.
Harry Potter was the Boy-who-lived, on his world Hermione Granger died. On another Hermione Granger was the Child of Destiny and her Harry died. The fates decided this was bad and moved the two of them to another world that had lost of them to the battle. This is not a happy story. It will be by the end, but they will earn it. They will suffer and they will learn to love again.
Sometimes to rise you must fall. This is the story of the post war fall and rise of our heroes. Mature content. Subject matter may be unpleasant for some. Your mileage may vary. Relationships: Complicated. Setting: Darker than book ending. Ending: Arguably happy. Not epilogue compliant, or even in the same parsec as such. One shot with no intention of expansion or revisiting later.
Set after 4th year. Harry watches the Star Wars movies and embraces the concept of the force. It starts out light hearted and funny, then takes a dark turn for a few chapters then ends on a happier note. Evil does evil things. Hays code is suspended for this one. It is rated M for a reason. There is Torture, Implied threat of rape, No Plot armor for characters. YMMV.
The continuing adventures of nargle enhanced harry and his ladies. The hunt for horcruxes. The restoration of old friends. No new relationships are created. We will eventually meet tom.
The Battle of Hogwarts ended badly, very badly. Hermione's last thoughts were of her mother now she wakes up as her. This is a short one shot. Even if there is demand I am working on retold first. There is a bit more detailed warning and explanation inside. Rated M as usual.
Harry's second year in the magical world. Things start to really change. Still rated mature for language, content and some naughtiness Still mostly Hays Code Compliant though. Harry and his friends in a world where the idiot ball is not grabbed, competent enemies, friends and professors exist and a few new characters are encountered.
An obligatory retelling of the First year of the Hogwarts journey of Harry Potter. Only things are a bit different as adults are not as useless, Harry is not as clueless and he has different friends and experiences. Still labelled Mature as I do not trust my ability to write for anything less than that level. No sex, romance or anything naughty. They are 11 really.
Set in 6th year. Hermione and Luna develop a way to travel between dimensions. Harry uses this new power to find info to fight Voldemort and brings home a few souvenirs. Harmony . Ron is good. Dumbledore is good. There are bad words in here. Some sex. Hays code compliant mostly.
It is fourth year and Harry has had his name drawn. Hermione finds a way to get some information. Some ron and Dumbledore bashing with an impolite opinion of molly weasley. Now being expanded into multiple chapters.
Set after the Dept of Mysteries battle where Hermione died, Harry died and Ron got Brain Damaged. That's when things really changed. A quick one-shot that takes place only over 2 days and 180 years. Again oddly enough no bashing, a positive depiction of Dumbledore. Lunar Harmony. rated M for safety sake as always.
This is a one shot complete story. Starts 2 years after the war ended and goes to the end of their lives. Not epilogue compliant. Harmony of course. Amazingly enough Ron is not bashed, much. A rather meta idea that slapped me in the face this morning over breakfast. Stewed in my brain all day and got knocked out while waiting for dinner. Surprise bonus content at the bottom of the page is a stupid, and according to my wife dark crossover.
Harry gets a power boost from the Nargles. With his loving wives and family he takes on bad guys like Ron Weasley, Dumbledore and the Death Eaters with this power. If you like Ron probably not a good idea to read this as I don't.
Harry gets a power boost from the Nargles. He gains a wife or two, a family, and owns the Tri-Wizard tournament. There is some Ron bashing and Dumbledore is not a good guy. Some language and naughty bits. Nothign more than a romance novel level or maybe Benny Hill.
Harry gets a power boost from Luna's Nargles. He and his ladie's form a family, fight the bad guys, own the tri-wizard tournament and enjoy their new found life.
