An excited shiver ran down Hermione's spine and she had to remind herself that this was just an act. This was just his job. She was just a paying customer. But despite knowing all that, the moment felt electric, private, even with the large amount of people watching their every move.

"Would you do that?" he asked, "Choose someone for life?" She looked down at him, at the familiar face she'd come to know better than her own. "I would." Ron's reached out and put a hand on hers, the webbing between his fingers catching the light as he did so. "Then why do you sound so sad?" "Because," she whispered, "No matter how much I love the sea, I can't breathe in it."

"Hermione…Ron doesn't remember anything that's happened in the last six years. Nothing at all. To him, it's like they never happened."

It happened in a flash. Draco Malfoy had called Hermione Granger something vile. A Mudblood. At the time, Colin didn't know what it meant, but the impact was instant. Gasps echoed through those nearby, and Ron, Harry's best mate, the boy Colin had watched with silent envy- snapped.

Hermione bit her lip, her body instinctively moving back into the sofa cushions, the pillows like a fortress on either side of her. "I just don't understand," she said in a small voice, "how he could do what he did. Ron's the last person I ever thought would be capable of something like this."

In this pen pal experience, two students from two different schools exchange weekly letters, forming a friendship through the power of words. Over the course of two months, these letters become even more as they open up about their lives. They'll discover unexpected similarities, surprising differences, and maybe even more. And when the project comes to an end, what will happen?

There, in the middle of her living area, standing on top of her coffee table, was Harry Potter. Completely naked. Hands planted on his hips, he gyrated side to side like some deranged, magical Chippendale. The only thing preserving Hermione's last shred of sanity was a strangely shaped box with a lid clinging to his crotch, somehow defying gravity to stay stuck in place.

'Falling in love' his arse. He hadn't 'fallen' in love. He had crashed into it, going 100 miles an hour, with no warning whatsoever. When had it even happened? He had no idea, and frankly, it didn't really matter because the end result was the same.

Not that she had entirely forgotten, but it was easy for Hermione to remember what had drawn her to Ron in the first place. He was funny, kind, and had a carefree air about him that she'd always wished she'd had. They got into several friendly debates, and Hermione respected that he was able to keep his own and didn't immediately back down as so many other people did with her.

Hermione, it's been a year

She'd been with Ron when it was just the two of them, of course, and she'd been around both Harry and Ron loads of times, but this would be different. Hermione was going to be able to see for herself how Ron was whenever it was just he and Harry, something she'd never been privy to before now.

Ron, Harry and Hermione share a bottle of firewhisky at Grimmauld place during the horcrux hunt. Certain wishes may or may not be shared.

"No need to pretend anymore, sweetheart," he said in a voice he hoped sounded domineering, "I'm not really delivering you a package, I'm here on a job." "And what job would that be?" she snapped, obviously all out of patience. God, she would be sexy as hell if she wasn't the type to steal animals from their loving homes.

It was stupid, really. She'd only planned to follow him one time, but after seeing him it became almost unbearable to stay away. No matter how disgusted with herself she is for spying on him like this, she can't talk herself out of it- not after discovering just how easy it is.

Ron's wand flew back to his waiting hand as Bellatrix's features distorted into a display of rage that surpassed even what it had been at Malfoy Manor. "Pathetic!" she screeched. "A mudblood rescuing a pure blood! Do you feel no shame, boy!" she screamed at Ron, who remained unmoving, his body rigid as he continued to keep himself between Hermione and Bellatrix.

A shorter, decidedly less angsty version of No, not you.

It's 6th year, and Hermione and Ron are finally on the same page after he and Lavender go their separate ways. However, when Hermione finds the courage to tell Ron how she feels about him, his response is not what she expects. Miscommunication drives them apart until years later, but is it already too late? Magical AU

Hermione is in need of some nostalgia. Ron helps.

A few months into their friendship, Ron finally tells Harry his secret. Like most people are when they find out that Ron is a seer, Harry seems impressed. Unlike most people, though, Harry doesn't try to get any information out of him, puzzling Ron when he, instead, asks a different kind of question. "Want to sneak out and go for a fly tonight?" Ron smiles. "Hell yeah."

Ron leaned his head down so that his forehead was resting on her bare shoulder. "Hermione?" he asked, his voice timid. "Mmm?" "Are you mine?"

"I'm just worried about you," he murmured. "I know you are," Hermione replied as she sat up further, scooting so that her knees touched his outer thigh. "But I'll be okay. I'm tougher than I look, you know." Ron closed his eyes. "No shit," he muttered, remembering what she had been through at Malfoy Manor just two days before.

She laughed, relieved. "Ron, you do realize that I'm the one who climbed into your lap, don't you?" He paused, but then nodded. "Well then, you have to realize that I want this. I want you." "And you bloody have me," Ron immediately replied, his hands coming up to cup her face. "I've only ever been yours."

'I did not come here for a summer romance' she internally chastised herself, even as she felt the excited butterflies fluttering in her stomach. He was definitely acting interested and she couldn't help but feel pleased, especially considering how things had gone earlier when she had first walked in. (Romione camp counselor fic. Muggle AU)

"Look," Ron sighed. "I'm not going to pretend to be old friends with you in order to get this position. I'm not fake like that. But I really do need this job." Hermione said nothing as he went on. "All I'm saying is, don't count me out because of something that happened in high school. That wouldn't be very fair of you."

"Hermione?" "Yes?" she answered, her eyes still on his hand, her heart beating rapidly in her chest. "You feel it too...don't you?" She looked up to see him watching her closely, his brows furrowed. Her breaths became shallow as she stared back. She did feel something that she couldn't quite name. Something that she had never felt before.

Hermione Granger has it all- a great job, great friends, and most importantly, the love of her life at her side. But when something terrible happens, Hermione is forced to make the hard choice to give it all up to save the man that she loves. What happens when one mistake years later unravels everything?

She gave me another one of those tight-lipped smiles, and I realized that I desperately wanted to see what one of her real smiles looked like. "It's nice," she said. "Or it will be once it's decorated." I wanted to ask her if she could help me decorate it but I held my tongue, knowing that it would be an inappropriate thing to ask.

This closeness- he wanted it so bad- wanted her so bad, but he stayed still, terrified of doing something that would frighten her- something that would change her mind and make her move away from him. He bit back a groan when he felt her pepper three feather light kisses on his neck, right over his adams apple. "Ron?" she asked, her voice small and unsure. "Is this okay?"

The girl cocked her head to the side as she stared at him. "Your kind does not know about our kind, for we live in secret," said a beautiful voice that was unlike any sound that he had ever heard before. He stared at her, bewildered. Although he had clearly heard her speak, her mouth hadn't moved at all.

Hermione Granger was responsible, intelligent, and polite. Ronald Weasley was irresponsible, lazy, and impolite. The fact that they were different in every possible way made it extremely odd that the two of them had been the best of friends since they were eleven years old. Muggle AU.

Just an angsty/smutty one-shot fifteen days post- battle of Hogwarts

Rose Weasley accidentally sends herself back in time and joins the trio while on the horcrux hunt. What could possibly go wrong?

"Once upon a time there once was an idiot who was desperately in love with his best friend,but he never acted on the feelings that he had for her because he was a f***in' insecure coward. Then,one day when he least expected her to do so, she kissed him! She kissed him and he was bloody over the moon about it,he had never felt happier than he did in that moment. And then, she died."

I know it's been done a million times before, but I wanted to do my own version of Ron and Hermione taking a shower together after the battle of Hogwarts. I figured I'd add my own little twist to it, so enjoy!
