The owl stretched out its leg so Fred could take the letter. When Fred had taken it the owl sat still waiting for him to read it. He opened the letter and read: Dear George, "Oh, it's for George. I shouldn't read it," he thought.
"They're coming, they're coming!" Rose screamed running down the stairs. She continued out through the door and stopped at their gate. In the distance she could see three people. Her parents, Ron and Hermione, followed her out of the door. Rose was practically jumping out of her skin with excitement.. Hermione knelt down and pulled Rose into a hug.
Harry gets bored again and continues watching the clock. This time it is only one minute until his 11th birthday. Harry rolls onto his back and imagines what the dursleys will give him this year. Will they remember my birthday and will they even get me something? His thoughts disappear.
He suddenly hears two strange noises, but when he turns around he sees nothing more than the crowded street he is walking on. The moon goes up and some stars can be seen. A burst of wind comes his way and he shivers.

Today Harry and Ron played chess in the living room downstairs. I watched from the stairs, but then Hermione came down and I had to go so that she wouldn't see me looking at Harry. She looked at me suspiciously. I hope she doesn't suspect anything. Mom is calling, I need to go eat.
Draco is standing at the edge of the astronomy tower, looking out at the sunrise. Nobody has found him yet. He can hear the birds awakening and beginning to sing. Since there is nothing here to distract him, he begins to dwell on his past.
