It terrified her, how easy it was to erase her parents' memories. Erase her childhood. Erase her. Her heart feels like lead and broken. The rest of her speech is drowned out by the drowning feeling Hermione feels. The crashing waves give her rhythm, it grounds her. The ocean ebbs and flows just like her panic.
