Mycroft Holmes hated John Watson. That obnoxious ex-army doctor, following his brother's every step. Mycroft hated the man. Why? Personally, he thought the reason was quite obvious. Prompt story. Light Mystarde at the end.

It was a terrible rainy day when he decided to visit her grave. One woman who had the most influence on his life. He wasn't expecting to see two strangers, standing by the tombstone and talking quietly. Small Sherlock/Skyfall crossover. So, spoilers. Mild Mystrade and Johnlock.

Somehow Mycroft had found himself organizing weddings and other social events. He was not sure, how he got there, but surrounded by assistants and subjected to questions about decorations and flowers he kind of hated his job. Especially since it stood between him and his decision to propose to the man he loved.

As Gregory Lestrade tells John a romantic story of how he met his husband, Mycroft reminisces about his wedding day. John is amused, Sherlock – merely irritated.

He, who was throwing around big words claiming that caring was not an advantage was just another sentimental fool. A fool who knew how to lock those feelings away, but a fool nonetheless. One who, like any other, hoped for a happy ending, who got his heart broken and only had himself to blame. Who still dared to dream of his own happily ever after.

Trapped in a relationship that seemed so wonderful at the beginning – a relationship with a very dangerous man – Mycroft has to deal with a brother who suddenly takes an interest in his life and a sudden attraction to a DI that Sherlock works with. Starts as Mycroft/Moriarty but is eventually Mystrade.

"Gregory, I don't like Doctor Who." Mycroft stated resolutely. "That's because you haven't seen it!" Lestrade exclaimed. That's how Mycroft's torture started. Or maybe not a torture really? Mycroft/Lestrade and love for Doctor Who.

John felt stupid, sending texts that he knew were not going to be received. Somehow it felt like it was the only thing left for him now. Was it ever going to change? Sherlock/John

Working with Sherlock Holmes was difficult enough, but saving Mycroft Holmes's life and fighting his attraction to the man was a near impossible task. Still, DI Lestrade decided that he had nothing to complain about. Lestrade/Mycroft

"What?" John exclaimed, shocked. "Did you just say that your brother is married to DI Lestrade?" Sherlock scowled. "Yes, John, and that's a piece of information about my family I'd love to forget." Lestrade/Mycroft with a dash of Sherlock/John in the end

There was an annoyed Sherlock, a suspicious Mycroft Holmes and an inconspicuous DI Lestrade. All in all it was the day when John Watson regretted his insistence to find out the truth. Lestrade/Mycroft

DI Lestrade had never expected that meeting Mycroft Holmes would change him in so many ways, but he did know that the changes were mutual. That's probably what made them so precious. Side story to Changing Habits.

Mycroft Holmes never knew that appearance of DI Lestrade in his life would bring so many changes. The last change was Mycroft realizing how important every little change was and how many of them were to follow, each making him happier.

John had never wanted to be a part of a matchmaker's plan. He had never imagined himself as a 'main target' of a such plan. But maybe, just maybe, it'll turn out fine in the end...

A cunning brother and a matchmaking mother sometimes could be too much. And sometimes they could be just what Mycroft needed to diversify his life. And bring him happiness along the way. Probably.

Shouldn't your first fight be memorable? With a lot of shouting followed by storming out and instant regrets, soon to be forgiven and healed with kisses? But Lestrade realized that with Mycroft Holmes there was none of it.

No one ever expected such a reaction from Sherlock Holmes. Not even the consulting detective himself. This was the one time his deductions worked against him. Mycroft/Lestrade, very light Sherlock/John
