Callie kept her eyes on the floor and didn't move. She barely breathed. The room was silent until the door shut and then Callie heard the other woman shift around. "Hello Callisto," Her voice was warm, and Callie peaked up and saw a large smile on the woman's face. "Hello Ma'am," Callie said. "My name is Professor Sprout, and I'm here today to talk to you about your schooling."
Seamus is Dean's bodyguard (AU, No Magic) The gallery opening was every Dean dreaded. Crystal champagne flutes, people in designer clothes, and cameras that flashed every time he turned around. Six months ago he had been a nobody with a sketchbook and a dream. Now he was 'the next big thing' which apparently meant he could go nowhere without security following him.
Percy Weasley's footsteps echoed through the empty corridors with a satisfying precision. He glanced at his pocket watch. Ten o'clock exactly. He adjusted his Prefect badge to ensure it sat at the perfect angle on his robes, and then began his inspection of the fifth floor.

Ron and Cedric adopt. *Three years they'd been together. Two since they'd bought this cottage, with an overgrown garden and wonky front steps. One year since they'd gotten married and six months since they'd started the process to adopt through the Department of Children's Services within the Ministry.*
The fire in the common room had burned down to just glowing embers that cast the entire room in shades of orange. Neville sat cross-legged on the worn rug in front of the hearth with his wand resting on his knees and trying to remember how to breathe.
Professor Sprout had been very specific with her instructions. Dirigible Plums ripened exactly forty eight hours after the flowers closed and you had to harvest them within a fifteen minute window or they'd break off the branch and fly away. She'd seen three flowers close at precisely 2:47 on Monday which meant they'd be ready at 2:47 today.
"...honestly don't know if she'll say yes." That was Charlie's voice. It was uncertain in a way she'd rarely heard before and Angelina froze. "Of course she will, you daft git," Alicia's voice was exasperated, "Angelina's mad about you. Anyone with eyes can see it."
"You want me to do what, exactly?" Lee asked, though he'd understood perfectly well the first time. "Testify," Draco repeated, "At my hearing. You were there that night at the battle. You saw-"
Fabian and Alice were just friends...or were they? "Right," Alice said, sliding one bottle toward him, "Don't look now, but the blonde at the bar has been staring at you for the past ten minutes." But Fabian didn't look. He never did.

The sun was high in the sky and cast a warm glow on the secluded beach. Daphne and Susan walked hand in hand along the shoreline, the soft sand warm on their bare feet. The rhythmic sound of the waves breaking against the shore created a soothing white noise.
Harry knew this was his fault. They had both agreed to their current arrangement. No feeling. No strings. It was supposed to be a way to connect and feel human after a long and tedious war that had taken far took many lives.
Percy sat in the train compartment by the window. He leant against the glass, his breath fogged the window slightly as he stared outside. He was enjoying the peace and quiet before he returned home to the loud house filled with his siblings.

Harry lay awake in bed unable to sleep for the seventh night in a row. The rain pelted against the window but even the torrential rain that fell wasn't enough to drown out the snoring that came from George Weasley.
"The Dark Lord is planning an attack tonight. There will be two actually, set to strike at midnight." Severus' expression darkened as he absorbed the information, his mind racing through possibilities but he still couldn't figure out why Lucius had shown up to tell him about this particular raid. Normally, if he was not to partake, he was told afterward.

Hermione walked over to Harry in the ministry lunch hall. She sat down, with no food, only a cup of steaming tea. "Harry. I've been meaning to speak with you about something," she said overtly seriously.
Teddy and Victoire navigated through the hallways of their cozy home. Everything was decorated with the festive glow of Christmas lights and the sparkle of tinsel. The air was filled with the scent of pine from the large Christmas tree that stood tall in the living room.
The sterile hospital room was dimly lit, and the soft beeping of medical equipment provided a steady backdrop to the tense atmosphere. Harry, clad in navy blue scrubs, stood in the doorway. His heart was heavy with concern as he watched his wife, Daphne, who lay in the hospital bed, pale and visibly weakened after giving birth to their daughter, Ivy.
James stood in front of the mirror, clad in his elegant dress robes, as he tried to tame the rebellious bowtie that refused to cooperate. Sirius sat on the bench in front of the nearby window and watched the struggle with an amused grin.
The Black Lake had a thin layer of ice, broken in several places, and the trees in the Forbidden Forest were covered in a pristine layer of snow, the branches weighed down by the heavy snow that continued to fall on this crisp December afternoon.
Harry woke up at Shell Cottage, the sun shined bright in the room. After being detained in the dungeon at Malfoy Manor he was still surprised when he woke up and saw the pale beige walls and smelled the salt on the air from the nearby sea.

Fleur shot upright in her bed. Sweat coated her skin and her heart raced out of her chest. She couldn't catch her breath. She looked desperately to the other side of the bed and saw that it was empty.
Summer between Year 1 and Year 2: Harry sat by the small window in his small, stifling room on Privet Drive. The summer sun beat down on the street and in through his window making his room unbearably hot.

Harry's gaze scanned the blue-clad crowd he locked eyes with one particular blonde that stood near the back. Her silvery-blonde hair shimmered in the moonlight and her blue eyes had a hypnotic glow. Harry felt a shiver run down his spine. He didn't know who that girl was, but he desperately wanted to.
Their eyes were locked and in that instant Harry felt something shift inside of him. A warmth spread through him, and he couldn't help but stare at this unknown blonde, drawn to her calm manner.
AU: Fem!Harry, Good!Dursley: Holly Potter of Number Four Privet Drive lay silent in her bed. Today was her eleventh birthday and her aunt had been acting particularly odd. She seemed to be either keeping a close eye on her or looking up into the sky as if something was about to drop down onto their home.
Harry sat at the window of the broken-down house on the small rocky island. The musty, salty air from the sea spray leaked in through the window and it reminded Harry of Seaweed. The rain pelted against the glass so hard that he couldn't sleep.
Once he made it to his floor, the eleventh, he sauntered down the hall to apartment 11C. He paused for a moment before he put his key in the lock and looked over at his neighbour's door. It had been a while since he had last seen Oliver, conflicting schedules are likely to do that, so Harry decided to take action. (Cross-posted on Ao3)
