It is the end of Harry's second year at Hogwarts. All the drama is over and everyone is looking forward to going home for the holidays. Everyone except one bespectacled, dark haired hero. A spur of the moment decision leads Harry to finding his own happy-ever after. Slow to update and no beta, have mental health issues, writing helps. Please be kind or move along. TY.

What started off as a random plot bunny has gained something of a life of it's own. Dresden teaching at Hogwarts is a fav of mine, so I had to give it a whirl. Thanks to The Dresden Files Facebook page for the germ of the idea, and to Jim Butcher and J.K. Rowlings for these great toys :-)

I imagine that Severus Snape was a very lonely, bitter man who understood very little about love. BUT he loved Lily Evens. His last year of life must have been a terribly lonely one.
