the Snow White story with a few twists and a dragon. It's sort of crossed over with 'Donkeyskin' with its original rather nasty attempted shipping, so rated T for the inference, as a good reason for Snow White to get out of dodge, and a touch of sleeping beauty.

Jareth, king of the goblins, has a familial affinity with snowy owls. When a niece of his is trapped in her owl form after trauma, she meets a wizard boy with green eyes, and knows he belongs to her. But he has been broken by his so-called carers, and she needs to see him fixed... and retribution on a certain bearded meddler. Retribution, Jareth-style as Hedwig guides her wizard.

When Luna finds the courage to approach Harry at the Solstice of her first year to fix a heap of things that need fixing, with magic as the judge. And Nagini was not a horcrux then so don't go there. Just a little whimsy for the time of year

called to the graveyard, Severus Snape decides to attend and try out a spell he has found, to rescue Harry and give him the training Dumbledore seems to be neglecting. Unfortunately for Severus, not all goes to plan and both he and Harry end up as teenagers in Hogwarts with the Marauders... rated for teenage potty mouths

Vernon gets the smarts when accidental magic in response to a bellow breaks the compulsion to be mean to Harry. He is well sore with the magical world which is making a child soldier by grooming Harry, so he decides to turn the weapon back on them by teaching Harry all he needs to survive.

Severus Snape wants to help his friend Lily Evans, and this means bearding his Prince Grandfather and asking if there is a way to boost Petunia into being magical. Joining the train with the Evans girls, Sev, now adopted 'Prince', makes friends with 4 boys and antagonises a prefect called Malfoy. Runes abound. Rated out of paranoia. No slash. Evans girls as Evans. Book 2 under way

Ron makes a bad choice about seeking out Hermione, and Harry, panicking, calls for aid using parseltongue as the tap is right in front of him. He and Hermione make a new friend, and Snape recognises the lack of self-worth of the abused. A Snape-mentor fic with a 60 foot twist. This has four years/chapters, and it's a good place to stop.

as requested from the drabble. When Pansy Parkinson opts for Ron Weasley as a suitable bridegroom to rescue her from abuse at home, it has a knock-on effect with Harry's life too as Pansy helps him understand his place in society and how to use it within the context of the Triwizard. Rated for mention of abuse.

Expanded from one of the whimsical drabbles. When Harry reckons that being chosen for the Triwizard has nullified his contract with Hogwarts and expelled him, he strikes a deal with Karkaroff, to Dumbledore's horror. Not to be taken seriously, just enjoy the anarchy and mayhem.

in a burst of accidental magic, Harry uses legilimensy to see pictures of his mother, and wish magic turns him into a little girl who looks like Lily. Vernon dies, and Petunia looks for somewhere to move. In Crawley they meet a little girl who also has accidental magic and with Petunia's knowledge and Dan Granger's cunning, plots are made. Fem! Harry, an experiment for me.

The Dark Lord won; and it's all thanks to the Dursleys. However Petunia has a second chance to do better by her sister, and to change the future. Oneshot. This didn't go quite the way I had loosely planned but hey, it wrote itself so I'm not complaining. Mostly Marauder Era. Smart!Petunia

The Dursleys did not take well to being threatened by the Order of the Phoenix after year 5, and Harry has a desperate idea and calls upon Kreature to help him fake his own death and disappear. Rated for implicit violence and dark themes. No Ron bashing, irritating Dumbledore.

Harry learned a lot from the Dursleys; how to take care of number one was the major lesson. Distinctly grey! Harry. Combat gardening to be found within. He makes some unexpected friends too, and will you Puffs quit chanting 'Badger! Badger'

Year 2 of Sev and the Marauders. Dumbledore finds a nasty ring, and Tiberius Prince fixes things ... his way. The Marauders are still searching for horcruxes, and Voldemort gets knacky that Tiberius Prince won't be his best minion. Lucius Malfoy continues to learn life lessons, and with Tiberius as headmaster, some changes are instituted. There are, of course, pranks.

In which Harry is contemplating killing himself before the Triwizard tournament can do so, and goes to ask Professor Moody's advice ... as soon as Barty Crouch leaves his office. Suicide issues.

another exploration of what happens if Harry gets a bit smarter about the Triwizard when he realises that hostages are going to be taken and fears it is going to be Hermione. Nobody can get at a potential hostage if she's hidden in the Chamber of Secrets, Oh, and there's a lot of potion ingredients to negotiate with Snape. Well-meaning manipulative! Dumbledore. Ron improves.

In which a smart!Vernon figures out that he and Petunia are being manipulated to resent Harry, and decide to do all they can to teach him everything they can about the wizarding world. Petunia enlists Lily's old friend, Severus Snape, and when the Marauders come on board they love the biggest prank on Dumbledore ever.

remembering that the milkman gets to the doorstep at about 4 am, is any decent man going to just leave a baby on a doorstep? Another reason why wizards might do better to study muggles more closely rather than just despising them.

this was written in response to a request of what might happen if Severus had not suffered the worst of the bullying at the hands of the Marauders. Instead, his mother takes him to America to go to school, but he remains in contact with Lily by letter, and when she is in trouble, he returns with a new identity, and brings what he has learned to her aid.

Set at the beginning of the Triwizard tournament, when Harry is so angry, he has decided that the consequence of losing his magic matters less than losing his life. However, he has a thing or two to say about the Wizarding World first. Oh, and it's a Harry/Hermione shipping

A Christmas whimsy for the season of good will and other things which do not please Severus Snape. You never thought I'd do a bit of Snape bashing, did you? but the opportunity to prank him at Christmas was too great. No particular universe, probably Harry's 3rd year. Ho! Ho! Ho!

Locking up the sun could be about Harry, Diamonds for tears, Remus ... this is a sad story so don't read if you don't like them. What could happen if Severus could dream Lily wide awake and make a pact with fate.

because the horcrux in Harry's head wasn't dealt with when he was a child, and was killed by a rather brute force method after much trauma, Harry Potter is an adult who will not live to see his 30th birthday. Reviewing all the stupid mistakes made by the adults around him, he returns in time to sort out his younger self's life, by setting in train a number of actions.

Vernon's reaction to having Harry dumped on the doorstep by *their kind* is predictable, and Petunia has a small epiphany over what might happen if Dudley develops magic when he is older the way Lily did. Suddenly her love for her sister is more important than her jealousy, and she takes steps to save Harry and Dudley by contacting the only person she knows in the wizarding world.

set following the pensieve incident during occlumensy, Harry has a sudden fit of the smarts and works to enlist more active aid from Snape. Unkind to Dumbledore and some Weasleys. Umbitch gets hers. Hermione has to think, and wises up. A peek at what might happen if the occasional use of logic and intellect was applied instead of hokey reasoning and blind belief in prophecy.

a short whimsy, touching on the many universes of Harry Potter. Light! Lucius. In which Hermione Granger has come from a universe in which all things went pear shaped, and is travelling the multipotterverse to put things right where she can. Sometimes even a know-it-all can long for stability.

When Vernon Dursley goes further than usual, a scandal arises in Privet Drive. However, the walrus didn't manage to complete the job. Severus Snape, chosen by Dumbldore as a replacement abuser, has a small epiphany and sets out to do some manipulation of his own. Rated for the early abuse.

With the tensions of exams and the machinations of the Necromancer and followers, the run-up to the final part of the Triwizard is never going to be quiet and peaceful. But then, what Marauder likes it quiet and peaceful? Don't blame me for the Triwizard result, I'd been worrying over it and then I had a dream about it.

The second task of the Triwizard is imminent, but it is not the foremost thing in the lives of some of the students. Danger from a selection of supremacists of more or less efficiency still abound, and Aglaia Hallow has some hard choices to make. Meanwhile the Musical Marauders plot to get Agata Bacso sorted out romantically.

The first task of the Triwizard is over, and the contestants are back in school to settle down as normal. Or as normal as things ever are. Merry Christmas to all my followers and fans, hope you enjoy.

the years have turned to be another Triwizard competition, this time with the Russian School for Pure Blood witches and wizards competing. Lilith plans to enter at a ridiculously young age, and the Russians have a surprising champion. This one is going to cover all the schools simultaneously over 4 parts for the sake of my sanity. The 1st pupils to gain qualifications are now prefects & must deal with new pupils looking for 6th form education that does not involve Durmstrang; the spite of a lower school pupil; and another layer of incipient Marauders as well as the arrival of a relative of one of the orphans. Head girl Biirta has her own problems to handle in the form of her young brother and her love life

Darryl Zabini finds himself teaching chanting for a year in Beauxbatons. He has to contend with supporters of the would-be dictator, our old 'friend' Achille Villeneuve, breakfast without a fry-up and the truly dark nature of the picturesque French uniform. Fortunately there are kids there willing to learn to fight...

The Enterprise is investigating a new Klingon star base reported by merchant shipping. I sometimes have random ideas in the bath and this was one of them.

Following the successes of the limited divination used by the Durmstrang Marauders, Agata Bacso persuades the governors to employ a divination teacher. Agata could not have forseen the trouble this teacher would cause! However the skills developed by the pupils justify the continuation of this class. A Duelling contest and Russian supremacists add to the excitement

Duelling contests, Quidditch, Quiddpolo and Gymkhanas might be expected to be quite enough extra curricular activity but European Pure Blood supremacists still think they have a cat's chance in hell of destroying Severus [pauses for laughter]. The efforts of the ghosts and poltergheist are almost incidental. And Lilith's adventure of course...

David Fraser is instituting new changes to Hogwarts in his capacity of Headmaster, including a school stable for playing Quiddpolo, and bringing in new staff to increase efficiency. No longer as new a headmaster as he was, David still faces challenges from the behaviour of one the seniors in Ravenclaw. The good news is that Bella has a tiger and she knows what to do with him.

Jade is setting up her new school for goblins and blood taints in Germany, and discovers more pupils than she had anticipated when she finds an awful orphanage. It's not just a case of teaching the youngsters to do enough magic for the new ZAP exam, but teaching some of them to overcome stereotypes and co-exist in harmony. Rated for things that have happened to some of the kids

Attila Nagy's son starts Durmstrang, where the Musical Marauders take this most musical little boy under their wing and they discover the concept of combat gardening together. Meanwhile Zoltan Nagy has problems with ordinary ethnic racism, a possessive mother, and the usual crop of bullies. Durmstrang has to cope with some old attitudes without Jade; but now it has Marauders...

David Fraser is excited and a little nervous over the idea of rising to the challenge of filling Dumbledore's shoes; he expects there to be plenty to challenge him. Problems from the ministry are de rigeur, as are enterprising ideas from film buff Marauders of all levels, and a Quidditch match against Durmstrang and the re-introduced sport of Quiddpolo are almost commonplace...

Where Severus and Krait are concerned, of course, a quiet year is a relative matter! Especially when Severus plots to do a chant to free all the House Elves in Europe from self punishment compulsions, and the fey get bolshie about it.

Ten years after the death of Voldemort there are to be celebrations held, but with Lilith Snape and her friends around, those who would be pompous had better beware. Is cute Chrysogon Rufus as much of a little tick as he sounds? why is Niobe all tears? and did anyone notice a preponderance of teddy bears?

Parallel in time to 'Head Girl of Prince Peak' this follows the fortunes of the Hogwarts students during the triwizard of 2004-5. Plenty of Marauders, a cursed boy, romance, Odessa, awful parents; the usual mix! Plus a new subject...

Once again the Triwizard competition is upon the schools of Europe, and Severus may disapprove, but depressing Durmstrang pretensions takes precedence - especially as he suspects Gerhardt might make a move!

In a year without Professor Snape, Bella and co are determined to be accepted as Marauders, Bella is disturbed by the memories she doesn't have, and Professor Khan suffers from an interfering mother.

In his first full year as headmaster of Prince Peak, Miss Cackls's Academy as was, Severus must face the machinations of Prince Gerhadt Grindelwald and ODESSA, which may prove less of a threat than gormless girls. Anyone pick up the Puddle Lane xover ref?

book 4 in the ongoing saga of Krait and friends; Harry and co have a Voldemort free final year at school, but they have to face the fact that he might not be the nastiest creature in the world; and winning the peace sometimes is harder than winning a war

David's last year at Hogwarts, without such distractions as Triwizard Competitions should be nice and peaceful to let him take his NEWTs without trouble, right? But then, this is Hogwarts...
