During his freshman year, Dean learns two things: 1. American Sign Language. 2. He's totally, head-over-heels, crazy in love with his roommate. (a sequel to come and get your love)

Day one at Kansas University. Dean's nervous as hell, because he's no good at accepting change, because college is new and different. And then there's his roommate, Castiel. Who's deaf. That's new, and different, but somehow it's okay. (Deaf and attractive. Great.)

"'Um,' he says. 'I'm Dean. Welcome to Physical Graffiti. Can I help you with something'" Or, the one where Dean is a tattoo artist and Cas is his customer, and they stumble over their words.

Dean is eight years old when he meets Castiel. Well, Castiel actually breaks into his house to sleep on his sofa. Except then he stays for a week. A month. A year. Fourteen years. Dean falls in love with Castiel-the-weird-sofa-burglar. They build a life. Until one day, Cas says, "I talked to my family." His real family. The angelic one. Right. Because Cas is an angel.

Post-Goodbye, Stranger. Dean and Cas grapple with what happened between them in the crypt.

Takes place during 9.10 Road Trip. A brief scene between Dean and Castiel. Dean realizes he's never actually thanked Castiel for saving him from Hell. But maybe seven years later is too late. Gen or pre-slash.

A reverse!verse, where Dean is the angel who pulled Castiel from Hell. Except, when he fell, he didn't expect to fall in love.

Post-S5. Dean lives with Ben and Lisa for one year. A lot can happen in one year. (The nightmares never really go away)

Castiel thought he was safe in Rexford, Idaho. He thought he could leave behind his dangerous life, he thought he could become Steve. But when three angels track him down in order to find the Winchesters, all that goes to Hell. Captured with Nora, his coworker, Castiel has to protect her life and his own. But Nora doesn't know what's going on. A oneshot, from Nora's POV. Post 9x06.

"He doesn't mind being dropped off in Arizona, if it means Dean and Castiel can finally resolve the tension. Dean's needed a good lay for some time. Sam just wants his brother to be happy." Castiel keeps dumping Sam in the middle of nowhere so he and Dean can fuck. Sam's perspective on Dean and Cas, a little annoyed, a little amused. A soft sequel to Gravity. T for sexual themes.

In Purgatory, Dean and Castiel hear rumors of two more humans, so they track them down. Percy and Annabeth can't be more than twenty, but they've got the look, like they've been hunting monsters for a long time. Though Dean's not sure why they keep calling this place Tartarus... Minor HoH spoilers. I noticed the parallels between the story arcs. In honor of yesterday's releases.

There's definitely something off about her teachers, Kylie decides. As a hunter's kid, she knows what to expect when she moves to a new town. But she definitely did NOT expect her teachers to be this weird. Post-series, TFW settles down and they become high school teachers. Totally improbable, but sets up for a nice outsider POV on their lives. Title taken from the Ramones song.

AU of the Bones episode Aliens in a Spaceship. Instead of Bones and Hodgins being kidnapped by the Gravedigger, it's Bones and Dean Winchester. Now Booth and Castiel have to team up to save their friends. Some knowledge of each show is helpful, especially knowledge of that episode of Bones. Contains minor Destiel and BonesxBooth. Protective!Cas and Protective!Booth. Fun times.

Alternate ending to 7.12 Time After Time. What if Sam wasn't able to save Dean? Who would he turn to next? Cas, of course. Only Cas is dead in 2012, so Dean has to appeal to the 1944 version of his angel. Unfortunately, Castiel doesn't know Dean yet. He has to convince an Angel of the Lord that they really are best friends. Could be pre-slash Destiel if you look at it that way.

"Dean and Castiel don't get together all of a sudden. There's no dramatic confession, no obvious morning-after. It's slow, it's quiet. Friendship blurs into something more, and Sam can no longer see the difference." After the events of 8.23 Sacrifice, Dean and Castiel fall in love. Sam watches quietly.

While on a hunt, Dean, Sam, and Castiel run into two strangers who seem to know a lot about angels. But are they talking about the same thing? Features Ten and Martha - I would have loved to include Rose, but alas, her time is before the appearance of the weeping angels. Besides, Martha doesn't get enough credit, she's pretty cool. Takes place Season 3 for DW and Season 5 for SPN.

It's Halloween, and Amelia tries to play a prank on Sam. Sam doesn't find it particularly funny, not after all he's been through. He freaks out and has to explain what happened to his last girlfriend. Post-Season 7, Sam/Amelia with mentions of Sam/Jess.

"It's been a long time, Mr. Moore. How are you doing?" he asks weakly. Mr. Moore stares at him, eyes wide. "How am I- how am I doing? I just found out demons exist and watched my dead daughter's boyfriend perform an exorcism! How do you think I'm doing?" Sam and Dean accidentally run into Jessica's father while on a hunt. Set mid-season 8. Sam still feels guilty for Jess's death.

Coda to 7x17 The Born-Again Identity. If Dean had been just a few days later with finding Cas and saving Sam, then Sam would have had more time to get to know Marin, the girl from the psych ward. And in that time, he explains to her why he's crazy. Somehow, she believes him. Slight SamxMarin, spoilers for the episode obviously. Sam angsts about Lucifer and his insanity.

Dean and Castiel get caught breaking and entering the Jeffersonian, and it's Booth's job to interrogate Dean. He brings in Sweets to profile the two men, but Dean and Castiel's relationship defies expectations. Sweets's POV. Established Destiel. Post-Season 8 for SPN, so Castiel is human and hunting with the brothers.

After 8.17 Goodbye Stranger, Castiel boards a bus and runs as far as he can. But when a woman named Kate sits beside him and starts a conversation, Castiel ends up spilling everything to her, about Dean, and about how Castiel can never forgive himself. Kate teaches him something about kindness. Destiel, but pre-slash and semi-ambiguous ending. Focuses on their bond, not on romance.

Dean wakes up alone in a hospital with total amnesia, and now Sam has to explain to Dean who they are and what they do for a living. Dean doesn't take it too well. Takes place between 6.17 My Heart Will Go On and 6.18 Frontierland. T for swearing.

Two times an outsider meets Dean Winchester, and two snapshots she gets of his life. She offers him advice and free beer and sees past the facade. First part is pre-series, second part takes place after 5.01 Sympathy for the Devil. Gen, focuses on the relationship between Dean and Sam and the consequences of Sam's actions in season 4. Outsider POV on Dean.

"There's something in this man's eyes, something desperate and lonely and Father George has never been one to close the doors on the needy." Dean visits a church to seek counsel. The Apocalypse is on his shoulders and he doesn't know what to do. He doesn't know what to believe. Tag to 5x21 Two Minutes to Midnight, Outsider POV.

"She only sees him once every few months, and only glimpses. He doesn't know she's noticed him, that much is clear. She only glances over him, never making eye contact. There is something familiar about this man, like an echo." Coda to 6x21 Let It Bleed. Even if he can't be a part of her life, Dean still keeps tabs on Lisa. And she notices.

Takes place a month after Dean shows up on Lisa's doorstep, a complete mess. He's suffering from PTSD, unable to deal with the pressures of a regular life. Dean's fought demons and angels. Hell, he's fought the devil himself. But when faced with a neighborhood barbeque? He nearly breaks into pieces. No pairing, tag to 5x22 Swan Song. T for language and angst.

Sherlock runs into the Winchester brothers at a crime scene. It's a shaky alliance, but he has a hunch they aren't the serial killers they're made out to be.

"One day, Carl finally asks about the salt on the windowsill. 'Force of habit,' comes the reply. That's Sam's answer to everything. The gun under his pillow? Force of habit. The jug of water with a rosary floating in it? Force of habit. The penknife always in his pocket? Force of habit." Sam's college roommate tries to piece together the mystery of Sam Winchester. Outsider POV.

"Death is a constant future for everyone, something to anticipate. Now Dean doesn't even have that luxury. His life is no longer in his hands. Was it ever?" Dean finds the easy way out of the Apocalypse. But nothing is easy for Dean Winchester, not even dying. T for successful but impermanent character suicide, coda to 5x01 Sympathy for the Devil.

Sam and Dean are investigating a crime in D.C. when they run into an actual FBI agent, Seeley Booth. Booth quickly discovers that these two aren't what they seem. But he discovers some other things about them too.

"I cannot seem to draw away from you, Dean Winchester. I have been orbiting your life for some months now. I am, I think, attracted to you as a moon is to a planet." Destiel, oneshot. Tried to keep them in character. Not too fluffy, just them finally admitting to their feelings.

Castiel accidentally sends Dean back in time, to 1985. There, he runs into John Winchester, on a hunt with his two young boys. In 2013, John's been dead for six years. But Dean gets to have a final conversation with his father. There's Destiel, but it's not integral to the plot. Mostly centers on the relationship between Dean and his father. T for swearing.

"'This will only take a second.' He taps in some coordinates, pulls the zigzag plotter, and the TARDIS starts screeching. 'Where are we going' 'Open the doors to the swimming pool' he says. She sees a hint of a mischievous grin on his face, as if he's anticipating something exciting." Clara meets River Song, the Doctor's wife. DoctorxRiver.

"This is a man who's seen everything, and it all comes down to a jacket on a rail in a room in a TARDIS that once belonged to her. He belonged to her. But that was a different man." The Doctor and Amy have a little chat about loss, eternity, and a certain Rose Tyler.

It was a perfectly ordinary day at a perfectly ordinary high school. That is, until two demigods burst into the cafeteria, followed by the Minotaur and a horde of other deadly monsters. Post-TLO, HoO never happened, follows canon pairings, T for swearing

Several different story lines in just one story, transcending tons of fandoms so not just PJATO and ATLA . Basically each chapter is a different fandom with a story about what school life for the main characters would be like post-war/story climax. Percy goes back to school, having to juggle demigod life with mortal life. Aang and Katara return to the Fire Nation school from 302.
