Following the disastrous Battle at the Dept of Mysteries and Sirius's loss, Harry decides to establish a wizarding residence and immediately go into a war footing. Gringott's helps with their services and soon Harry and team are bringing Linfred Hall, the true seat of the Potter family, up to war standards.

When the Ministry of Magic can't stop itself from intruding into Harry's life, he calls in a very special specialist. Armed with the rediscovered Potter library and a wizened elf librarian of unusual skill, Hermione gets to work ruining the Ministry's week. One shot.
