Remus has a lot of regrets in life. Seeing Harry again for the first time in years makes it clear that he has a lot more than he even thought to make up for. So, for the first time in forever, he stops running. A story in which Remus does, in fact, try.

Will didn't expect to find a baby on his doorstep when he opened the door early in the morning to let his dogs out. He certainly didn't expect to see familiar chocolate curls in a familiar little face, a bright red scratch going from her temple to her forehead in the shape of a lightning bolt. His mouth fell open and the next word came from the very tip of his toes, "Shit."

Harry knows he's in trouble. Sixteen years old and already fighting for his and his friends lives just because some old men couldn't ignore a barmy woman sprouting a few lines. Harry's a boy with the world on his scrawny shoulders and with no adults to help him. But Sirius wouldn't leave his pup without a chance of survival. The world better watch out for a Black with a plan.

Harry knew he was in trouble. He was only sixteen years old and he has the weight of the world on his scrawny shoulders and no plan. But with a little help from Sirius and the Blacks he will make one. They better get ready for a Potter with a plan. The world won't know what hit it.
