River walks into the TARDIS library one day, where the Doctor has been for hours, and finds him absorbed by a special book-a book he won't tell her about. When he hides the book and offers to make dinner, doing it right, she knows something is up. She has to see what he's reading.

He walked over to River and kissed her on the cheek gently. Then he grabbed a fresh cookie off of her tray and ran before she could stop him. *** Little moments between the Doctor and River. I had writer's block, so I turned that into a few one-shots and let the pencil take me where it wanted to.

"We have to, we don't have a choice. Time doesn't wait for anyone to catch up." The Doctor has a good question on a pensive day. Just a short one shot that I wrote as it came to me. Post AATM, but really it could be placed anywhere.

It's Christmas, and the Doctor wants it to be very special for River. From trees and gifts to stars and holly, this Christmas with the Doctor will definitely be special.
