The announcement of the Marriage Decree disrupts the New Year. When all eligible wizards and witches are forced to marry in order to increase the population after the war, neither of them thought they'd ever have a chance at happiness again. Especially not with each other but they soon discover that not everything is about themselves.

This story is a companion piece for The Marriage Decree. If you have not read that fanfiction, I would not recommend reading this, as it will make very little sense. Follow Sophie Adair through Hogwarts as she reluctantly makes new friends, hides old friends and gets herself into more trouble than it's worth, all while the story of The Marriage Decree takes place in the background.
