Despite her best efforts, Elizabeth Potter is repeatedly drawn into situations she wants absolutely nothing to do with. People just refuse to leave her the hell alone. (fem!Harry, dark!independent!Harry, mentor!Snape, F/F, playing with tropes for fun and profit)
When the message came, there was little left of Cassiopeia Black in her — soon she would move on, shed her face and her name for another. But, at the last possible moment, she found a reason to carry on, the smouldering embers of her identity sparking to new life. Unfortunately, adopting the Boy Who Lived came with complications. (metamorphs, fairies, AU and very weird)
Beth already had a bad feeling that her fifth year at Hogwarts was going to turn out to be pretty miserable — as pessimistic as she was, she hadn't seen a literal alien invasion coming. Because apparently the infamous Potter luck was screwing over the whole planet now. (eventual F/F) [Dimitran Fleet, part 1/4]
One day, the shadows will part, and the skies will open wide. When he rises, everyone will see. (How do you do a summary for something this big? Total retelling, Mahariel!Warden, mage!Hawke, Dreamer!Trevelyan!Inquisitor, worldbuilding, too many OCs, serious plot edits, primarily F/F.)

Beth's ill-advised jaunt into the Department of Mysteries goes badly, because of course it does. She ends up accidentally causing a weird magical chain-reaction and getting herself tossed a thousand years into the past, because OF COURSE she does. At this point, she's not even surprised anymore. That's just her luck, isn't it?
The Ministry's ambush in the Department of Mysteries goes badly, and Ellie and Sirius end up falling into another world. Vaguely Eastern, but also not? Also, there are monsters apparently? Teaming up with Youko, another person from their world lost here, they try to figure out what the hell is going on...and also find some decent bloody tea.

Embracing the Role by inwardtransience Stale Result (Last seen: )

Hermione is becoming increasingly convinced that, in magical Britain, there simply are no proper authorities. If nobody else is going to do what needs to be done, she might as well do it herself. (politics, worldbuilding, runes, body modification, OCs, F/F, teacher/student, eventual Dark Lady Hermione)

Her Mother's Love by inwardtransience Stale Result (Last seen: )

Albus still didn't fully understand what magic young Lily had wrought that night. At the time, he'd only been grateful her noble sacrifice had earned them peace, however temporary. He should have looked into it deeper. He should have done something. Unknowingly, long dead, that arrogant girl might just have ruined everything. (independent!GWL, black/white magic)
Through the Veil of Death, Ellie Potter had expected to find...well, death. She's had quite enough of quirky, manipulative old school headmasters and fated destinies, thank you very much. Oh well, at least the girls are cute.
When Heather Potter finally walked to her death, it came as something of a relief. But unnameable forces on the other side offer her a second chance at life, one she has hope can turn out much better than the first one. Brom, on the other hand, is getting far too old for this shit.

First chapters of a few fic ideas I have in my head. May or may not ever be written.

To Reach Without by inwardtransience Stale Result (Last seen: )

He hadn't wanted to be Harry Potter anymore. Things would be simpler, he would be happier. He had been almost positive he would be happier if he were quite literally anybody else. At the moment, he couldn't think of a better demonstration of the warning "be careful what you wish for." ON INDEFINITE HIATUS.

The Long Game by inwardtransience Stale Result (Last seen: )

Britain has been at peace for nearly a century — protected from the devastation of Grindelwald's war, free of conflict of their own. Charissa Potter, raised surrounded by family and friends more numerous than she can count, never really expected this to change. But hidden forces, it seems, have been playing a long game. ON INDEFINITE HIATUS.
Like unattended children, the British people have been allowed to wander too far. It is about time the parents came home to set things to rights. The process isn't likely to be fun for anyone — unless, of course, you happen to be eleven centuries old. (immortal!Founders, playful crack fic)

The Dark Within by inwardtransience Stale Result (Last seen: )

Miranda Ingham thought she was a perfectly normal girl. Smarter than average, maybe, but normal. When she learned magic was real, and she had it, that didn't change her mind too much. She was just a different kind of ordinary. She didn't believe her Defence Professor when he said otherwise. What does he know about her anyway? There's certainly no Dark within her.
