It was unexpected and shocking. Molly knew she had to act quickly but she knows that she's racing the clock.

Abandoning Tony in Siberia in a disabled suit and going directly to the Raft had seemed like a valid plan. Even when Bucky stayed safely in the quinjet while Steve freed his team, Steve didn't think anything weird was happening. Having time to think about what they had just done gave Bucky the chance to stop blindly following Steve and do the right thing instead.

Tony had been ... not /fine/, because after losing the love of his life, who would be? But he had been holding it together, no matter what JARVIS & Rhodey said. Then the Mandarin happened. Phil still had gaps in his memories, but reconnecting with JARVIS certainly shed light on things. Now it's his turn to be the Calvary. (IronAgent Triology; Rated due to triggers)

For some reason, Sam Wilson didn't expect to be arrested for his crimes. Even if the thought had occurred to him, he expected that the excuse of helping Captain America would be enough to get him out of any trouble. This wasn't what he expected.

Jason Gideon finally noticed that his TA wasn't always around anymore. He would have liked to say that Spencer making a new friend would always be considered a good thing. The problem was that he had spent too long hunting the monsters of men to not recognize a trained fighter. There was no doubt in his mind that Dr. Harry Black was more than a simple librarian. (TQC)

Peggy Carter lived her life. She loved, and she lost. She still learned when to plant herself like a tree and refuse to move. Sometimes the only way out is to fly on wings of your own making. (LoM)

It started on a mission. The Asset found a child in a cupboard. There was something about the kid that seemed familiar, especially when he had raised his tiny fists with the full intention of fighting the Asset. Nothing could ever remove Bucky Barnes' inherent habit of taking care of little punks determined to take on the world. (LoM)

Lily Evans came online suddenly and violently to protect the boy from the bushes. He was hers to protect, even more so than her family and, ugh, sister. She definitely didn't like the sound of a place where the rules didn't seem like they would matter. Luckily, her boy had a plan. (Hogwarts fill; LoM)

Ron's always had a temper and difficulty expressing his feelings in positive ways. Hermione knew that when she married him. So getting upset over the things he says and how he's phrasing them is selfish and immature. It's not like he's hit her or anything. (HC fill)

Harry didn't know how long he had been sitting at his parents' grave, silently falling apart. But eventually, Luna was exactly where he needed her once more and just like after Sirius' death, she knew exactly what to do. (TQC)

Spencer reflects upon his new friendship with the new librarian at Georgetown University. Shutting off the behavioral analysis that has become second nature was next to impossible, but maybe that was a good thing since it seemed like said new librarian refused to acknowledge that he just might need support. Gryffindors claim they are ethically right and justify any misdeed with excuses of love, but in the end, it was a Slytherin who truly saved Britain by making the hard choice.
