AU. 24 November 1994. In the medical tent after the First Task, Ron and Hermione visit Harry. Harry, annoyed by Ron's poor apology, decides to annoy Ron by giving Hermione a peck on the lips. Seconds later, Hermione gives Harry a passionate kiss. This makes both of them glow. It turns out, they were unrecognised soulmates, now they're magically married, and both are emancipated.

AU. 3 October 1994. Four weeks before the Goblet of Fire drawing, Susan Bones approaches Harry and Hermione outside the library. Susan asks Harry, "Is it true what Ron Weasley told me, that you don't like me and don't want to be friends with me?" Six feet away, Daphne Greengrass silently listens to the conversation.

FAMILY FRIENDLY. AU. ArchiveOfOurOwn has adult-themed Harry Potter fanfic stories whose summaries includes this sentence, "Hogwarts starts at [age X, where X is greater than 11]." But I see a problem with Hogwarts operating this way.

AU. On 1 November 1981, Pandora Lovegood visits the Department of Magical Law Enforcement to speak with Senior Auror Amelia Bones. Senior Auror Bones is mourning the deaths yesterday of her brother Edgar and her sister-in-law. Pandora Lovegood, a Seer, has three messages for Bones, the first two being: 1) come somewhere with me tonight; 2) bring an evidence bag with you.

AU. 19 June 1996. In the Ministry Atrium, Voldemort statuefies Harry by a spell, which puts the Prophecy on hold. A week later, Albus Dumbledore conducts a ritual to summon from another timeline, a Harry Potter who already has vanquished Voldemort. The ritual summons a Harry—but also this Harry's girlfriend Hermione and Harry's headmaster and mentor, "Uncle" Percival Dumbledore.

Humourous one-shot. WRONG BOY-WHO-LIVED combined with MARRIAGE-LAW FIC combined with HARRY IN AZKABAN.

AU. 24 June 1995, when Harry, the Triwizard Cup and the corpse of Cedric Diggory portkey to the Winner's Platform from the Little Hangleton graveyard, the ghosts of Cedric, James and Lily come with Harry. These ghosts KNOW things—and they are not silent. What happens when Dumbledore's secrets no longer are secret? Eventual H/Hr. Bashing of Dumbledore and of Ron.

AU. Soon after Cornelius Fudge becomes Minister in April 1990, Lucius Malfoy tracks down Harry Potter to the wizard boy's house on Privet Drive in Little Whinging. Lucius's plot? To Killing-Curse three Muggles and the nine-year-old Boy Who Lived. Lucius's evil scheme is three-quarters successful. Dumbledore bashing, pre-Hogwarts Harmony.

Silliness, and a play on words, in the Harry Potter universe.

AU. On the second day of fifth year, Harry, not Hermione, receives a letter from Hermione's father. The envelope is marked "READ ONLY WHEN YOU'RE ALONE." For days, Hermione burns with curiosity, but Harry chooses not to show Hermione the letter. Instead, Harry sends Hermione strange looks when he thinks she is unaware, and he acts strangely. The Pink Toad gets a rude surprise.

Loosely based on Reptilia28's "Don't Fear the Reaper" Challenge. In 1998, Harry and Hermione both die and both meet their Reapers. They are sent back in time to 1991—distinct from their younger selves. They each have been given an Eternity spell that will change their body, their accent and their magical signature, to hide their true identity. H/Hr. Bashing of AD/RW.

AU. At Harry's August 1995 trial in front of the Wizengamot for use of underage magic and violating the Statute of Secrecy, Lucius Malfoy and Dolores Umbridge got Harry convicted, and got Harry sentenced to death by Kiss. ("Kind" Dumbledore asked that Harry be "merely" sent to Azkaban for life.) But as the Dementor is drawing close to Harry, something unexpected happens. H/Hr

AU. 30th October 1991—the night before the troll attacks Hermione in the lavatory, Hermione hears a prophecy about herself, Harry (the "true friend"), Ron (the "false friend") and Dumbledore ("the bearded liar"). Eventual H/Hr. Bashing of Dumbledore and of the three evil Weasleys. Alternate title: "For once the adults do their bloody jobs."

AU. In the summer of 1996, Albus Dumbledore is put on trial by an adoring Wizengamot. Too bad for him that Augusta Longbottom is presiding at his trial and that Arthur Weasley is in hospital. Dumbledore bashing, mention of H/Hr, Sirius lives.

In 2057, elderly Hermione Granger builds a shapeshifting female Terminator, and sends it/her back in time to 1995. In June of 1995, in the Little Hangleton graveyard, Harry and Cedric, and Peter, Tom and Nagini meet what seems to be a naked young woman with apple-red, bushy hair. This is an H/Hr crossover alternate-universe story.

29th October 1990: Whilst hiding from Dudley, Harry reads a book in the school library, CAMPFIRE TALES FOR BOYS. Four years and two days later, when the Goblet of Fire spits out Harry's name, Harry tries something that he had read about in that children's book.

AU. During the Battle of Hogwarts, Voldemort kills Lucius Malfoy for desertion. Twenty-nine days later, Queen Elizabeth ends the Treaty of Separation of Magical Britain from Nonmagical Britain. By then, Harry Potter has a wife (Hermione), a concubine (Narcissa), lordship of twenty Houses and custody of Voldemort's daughter Delphini.

HUMOUR. In the Infirmary, Harry is told he has an unusual magical ailment.

AU. August 1995, when Harry and Dudley are attacked by Dementors, Luna and Hermione are at the playground too. The girls are too young to legally do magic to help Harry, but they are reliable eyewitnesses, and this makes all the difference afterwards. This summer, Hermione has defied Dumbledore's orders to not write to Harry. H/Hr story; Luna is their mutual friend.

My answer to Reptilia28's challenge. Six times has Harry Potter died young instead of killing Tom Riddle and marrying his soulmate Hermione. The seventh time that Harry's soul is sent into his younger body, Harry keeps his older memories and he has a plan. But if he fails, both his body and soul shall die. An H/Hr story that bashes Dumbledore and our most unfavourite Weasleys.

Post-Canon. On Harry Potter's fortieth birthday in 2020, he and Hermione Weasley, each potioned up to their eyebrows, meet three alternate-universe versions of themselves. This is a multiuniverse H/Hr story that bashes Molly, Ron and Ginny.

AU. Four days after Dumbledore has informed Hogwarts that the school will be hosting the Triwizard Tournament this year, Harry plays a hunch and sneaks off to Gringotts. At Gringotts, Harry begins a plan. Later, when the Goblet of Fire spits out Harry's name, Dumbledore is shocked by what Harry does next. This is an H/Hr story that bashes Dumbledore and Ron.

Two days after returning home from fifth-year classes and O.W.L. exams, Daphne Greengrass finds on her pillow, a letter from her much-older self. Included in this letter is a Muggle envelope addressed to Harry Potter from his much-older self. This is an alt-universe GreenPot Harmony (H/Hr and HP/DG) story that bashes Albus Dumbledore and Ron Weasley.

4 September, 2017: It has been nineteen years and some months since the Battle of Hogwarts; and three days since Hermione and her husband Ron put two of their children on the Express. Hermione Weasley wakes up sick, thinking she has the flu. But actually, twenty years' worth of potions all are wearing off. This is a post-Epilogue H/Hr story that bashes Molly, Ron and Ginny.

Petunia Dursley is dismayed by how few people attend her husband's funeral. Then she is shocked when the last person on Earth whom she expects to see at Vernon's funeral, offers Petunia his sympathies. Canon-divergent from both HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS and HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD.

This is an AU story where determined enemies Katniss Everdeen and President Snow are soulmates. Not romantic soulmates—their "affection" never grows beyond grudging mutual respect. But their "soulmateness" drastically changes events—Katniss becomes president at age 18. GUARANTEE: There will be no sex, nor hints of sex, between 78-year-old President Snow and 16-year-old Katniss.

AU. Katniss is at death's door on Reaping Day, so is excused from the 74th Reaping in District Twelve. Thus Katniss is not there to volunteer when Prim is Reaped. A kind Capitol doctor heals Katniss of her blood poisoning, but too late to prevent Prim from being a tribute in the 74th Hunger Games. Katniss/Peeta, Haymitch/Effie
