Wars leave scars. Harry and Hermione indulge their torrid affair in secret, as broken people do, although Harry's feelings for her slowly grow to bewilder them both. While Harry, Hermione, Ron and Ginny struggle to adapt to post-war life, they soon realize even Voldemort's death doesn't translate to a perfect world, as old bonds are tested to extremes.

The series through the perspective of Lavender Brown, with emphasis on the difficulties of dealing with her unrequited feelings for Hermione Granger. Follows canon closely, just with a different take.

Hermione is kidnapped alone by Snatchers in the Forest of Dean and brought to Malfoy Manor. After Draco protests to murdering her, Fenrir Greyback is amused with the prospect of forcing Draco to bed her for the night. "Oh, yes she's a sweet one.
