Hermione really shouldn't have slapped Draco at the end of third year. Getting hexed in your Time-Turner apparently has dire consequences. Like having no choice but to live out your life twenty years in the past. It's almost like jumping down the rabbit hole. It doesn't help matters when you realise that you have feelings for the currently teenage father of your future best friend.

James Potter unbeknownst to him got hit with a sneezing jinx, and nothing can stop him from sneezing except for one thing... (I'm writing a long-form fic (Through the Hourglass) with these two and now this plot bunny that is entirely irrelevant to that story took hold in my mind... so anyway... enjoy. Or don't... Remus Lupin is a werewolf. This comes with a couple of challenges besides the fact that he turns into a bloodthirsty beast every month. Hiding this fact from his friends is a challenge. Especially if he becomes sick for real, on top of his monthly disappearances. He wants to fit in, so saying no to his friends is quite challenging as well, even if it's detrimental to his health.

Remus falls into a deep depression after Sirius's death. After a rather rough moon on a mission with the werewolf packs just before Halloween 1996, Remus returns seriously ill, with absolutely no self-motivation to actually do anything about that to get better. Tonks wasn't about to let him drown himself in phlegm, though.

Sirius is stuck in Grimmauld and it is seriously affecting his mental health. Almost like a godsend Remus comes down with a cold, giving him a purpose to divert his restless energies into. Loosely inspired by the song Elise Ecklund - Is This The End. If one wants to, this can be read as a Wolfstar fic, though the intention is just an extremely touchy, feely bromance. Remus/Tonks.
