Taylor Hebert just can't get a break. She retired to a peaceful alternate Earth after the horror show that was Golden Morning, but Contessa didn't bother making sure she lived to reach old age. And someone seems to be pulling strings behind the curtain, because this definitely isn't the afterlife...
The Dumbledore's Army Space Ship Requirement sails again! This time with goa'uld, SG-1, and consequences that probably aren't a joke. (Consequences not included, may contain products harmful to the mental development of children under seven years of age.) This story was inspired by another work on this site, see author's notes for details.
A lot of people forget, in the wake of Khepri, that Taylor Hebert was just a girl. A very determined, driven girl, with the power to control bugs and also people that one time. But still just a girl. What made her terrifying was never her bugs or her abilities. It was her sheer, bloody-minded determination. What would happen if that was all she ever had, even after getting powers?
I'm a self insert character now. I was expecting this. I'm made of nanomachines and the closest thing I have to bological gender is 'Fast Attack Battleship.' This I was also expecting. It's hard to plan a story like this and not look forward to actually being the main character, after all. So now I need to do is figure out why I'm in a magic school. That was not part of The Plan .
Saitama was enjoying a pleasant dreamworld fantasy about monsters strong enough to actually give him a challenge when suddenly he ends up on a completely different planet. In an alternate reality? And why is it raining so hard? Also, what do those sirens mean? Or, Saitama ends up on Earth Bet just before the canon Leviathan fight and things get interesting from there. Oneshot.
Harry's been wandering the multiverse for some time, researching the mysteries of magic. When he comes across the SGC, he can't help but wonder why Ancient technology seems to work WITH magic instead of exploding on contact. This inevitably leads to all sorts of trouble, and a wizard in the Pegasus galaxy. Harry's a cheeky genius, but not the MoD or even overpowered. Much.
A meeting with a strange man in hide armor completely changes Qui-gon's life. As a result Anakin gets the mentor he deserved, though he never gets a chance to thank the man who changed everything. When a bounty hunter targets Padmé Amidala ten years later, Anakin has to figure out who, why, and how. And this mysterious "police man" following the same trail is REALLY irritating.
This is a series of drabbles all contained in the same universe, one I am currently building into a workable story. I can't summarize here, due to character limits, but you can watch and enjoy the ride with me as I try to build something from the ground up. If you have a title idea, PM me. I'll create an OC for the person (if it's not me) who comes up with the story's title.
What would happen if Harry was just a little bit later to King's Cross? If he rode the train with Hermione and Neville and didn't meet the Weasleys until he was at Hogwarts? Not your typical "What if the Hogwarts years went differently fic." T because Harry will be a teen. ;) On indefinite hiatus, plot outlines posted. Contact me if you want to continue this yourself.
It occurs to me years later, that this would with minimal tweaking make a great twist backstory in a WBWL story. Don't know what I'm on about? Read the story to find out, it won't take much of your time. Shoutout to Harry Potter, Junior Inquisitor, by sprinter1988 for inspiring this story. Read the story, it's good. Doesn't have much to do with this, but what inspiration ever does?
The date is 31 July 2027, and Harry is turning 47. Life has settled in the past few years, perhaps too much for his tastes. But what plots lurk in the shadows of Harry's life, waiting to stir things up again? Beware the ancient, hidden secrets of unknown potential, for even the knowledgeable must take great care when handling them…
