Having your deepest desires exposed is a horrible thing. There's nothing more despairing than a mirror showing what you desire the most yet can't have. Except maybe creating that exact existence and transferring you there. Some would imagine that micro-universe to be a heaven. Everyone who ever experienced it calls it 'Hell'.
