And on that day, he happened to bond with the Tardis, who offered to adopt him and he agreed. When she adopted him, knowing Harry's fear of adults, she hid him away from the Doctor, who never even knew what had happened. Until the day he couldn't hide anymore.

Harry wandered alone as the Master of Death until that loneliness became too much. So Death, desperate to help his Master and give him some sort of companionship, arranged for Harry to meet another lonely man with an impossibly long lifespan. SLASH. 11/Harry
