Sometimes your life doesn't go the way you want it to, nor the way you expect it would. One day you could be the champion and general of an entire army, and the next you could wake up as a gawky teenager. Life is sometimes weird and wild, but one thing that is inexorable, is fate.

All it took was one bad day, one quest gone wrong to change Percy Jackson's life forever. Still, he was an adaptable soul, and despite being occasionally headstrong, unpredictable and stubborn, Percy would not just adjust to his situation, no, he would find a way to thrive in it!

This isn't how he thought it would go, then again his life had been falling apart for sometime now, so maybe he shouldn't have been so surprised that one minute he'd been in Tokyo, and the next he was in a whole other world. In a place without Ghouls, and where no one knew who he was, or what he is.

He doesn't know who his father is, and he can barely remember his mother. Instead, he grew up in the system, for a time at least. All of this affected the way he turned out. Not that he really cares, after all, as far as Percy's concerned, his life is pretty great!

Percy Jackson had fulfilled all the tasks set before him, the prophecies his life had revolved around had ended. His entire life had led up to that one moment, that final confrontation and now it was over. For a time he didn't know what it was he should do next. But, after a chance encounter, he found a new goal, a different destiny, and this time it was one that he chose!

He thought he was dead. He thought his journey was over. He was wrong, his journey was just beginning, only now he has a new dream, a new ambition, one that he will die for again, if necessary!

A tempest is coming, one that will take the world by storm. Its name, well its name is Perseus Jackson the Son of Poseidon. The question is, can the world handle him?

When you try your best but, you don't succeed, and when you neither get what you want, or what you need. What are you to do? Do you accept your fate, that you were not the chosen one, that you weren't special? After all, he had been born with magic and talent, surely that meant something? But in the end his life and fate turned out less than glamorous. If only he had another chance.
