Haphne based very loosely on reptilia28's 'Don't Fear the Reaper challenge' because I like to take old tropes and make a mess of them. Having escaped the Grim Reaper, Harry finds himself in the third task. His goal, defeat Riddle, find Horcruxes and walk off into the sunset. But Fate's plans are not so easily brushed aside. Can Harry change the past or is his story already written?
Harry Potter, as he was called, had initially drawn the attention of the neighborhood. Mothers would smile at him warmly as he trailed behind his aunt, Petunia, on rare outings to the shops.
